Senior Microsoft AI Solution Architect / Lead .NET Engineer (Contract/Remote)
NISKAA Group is seeking a senior Microsoft AI architect and hands-on .NET engineer to integrate AI capabilities into an existing enterprise SaaS application.
The application uses:
- C# and ASP.NET Core
- Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework Core
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Azure App Service
- Microsoft Azure services
Detailed product information, architecture, and repository access will be provided only after screening and execution of a mutual NDA.
Fixed-Price Scope
The selected specialist will:
- Review the current application architecture.
- Design the Microsoft AI integration and security model.
- Define identity, authorization, and data-isolation controls.
- Implement a reusable C# AI integration module.
- Connect the application to Microsoft Foundry and Agent Framework.
- Implement structured outputs, provenance, and human review.
- Deliver one bounded end-to-end AI capability.
- Create authorization, isolation, failure, and regression tests.
- Configure Azure deployment, logging, monitoring, and rollback.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to the existing developer.
Required Qualifications
- Strong production experience with C# and ASP.NET Core
- Microsoft Foundry, Agent Framework, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent Microsoft AI experience
- Entra ID, managed identity, OAuth, and Azure RBAC
- SQL Server and Entity Framework Core
- Retrieval-augmented generation
- Tool or function calling
- Structured AI output validation
- Secure multi-tenant architecture
- AI evaluation and regression testing
- Application Insights or OpenTelemetry
- Azure deployment and CI/CD
Experience with Azure AI Search, Azure Document Intelligence, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, Semantic Kernel, and regulated enterprise applications is preferred.
Engagement Structure
